My Journey
After walking away from my career to be a full time homemaker I, like many women struggled with a loss of identity and sense of feeling invisible.

I created TiffanyStaysHome in the spring of 2023 with the goal of finding a creative outlet and social circle. It quickly developed into something so much more! A spark was ignited in me as I fell in love with a new resource to express myself creatively. I then began to share a small window into my life as a homemaker. I love that through sharing my stories of motherhood I connect with so many others and validate their unvoiced feelings and emotions.
It's been an exciting journey of joy, laughter, tears, and honesty all along the way.

What I do
Although writing is not my greatest talent, I’ve learned along the way that I truly enjoy sharing my experiences and a blog only seemed like the natural next step for sharing my journey and what I learn along the way as a stay at home mom.
Creating content for you YouTube channel has been one of the biggest learning curves for me and an area I am loving the opportunity to continue to grow.
When I first started I knew nothing about video editing and in a very short amount of time I’ve leaned quite a bit to where I am so excited and proud of the content I produce.
This is where this all started. I had dabbled around with instagram off and on since it first launched, but I had never really learned anything about it until I decided to branch out and set up my account tiffanystayshome in April 2023. I had no idea what I was doing when I first began, but I knew one thing, I was already having to cook dinner every night for my family so why not film it and share what I was cooking with others.
I cringe at some of my very first reels, but we all have to start somewhere. After a couple weeks of just playing around with the app I made the bigger step and purchased a tripod for my phone s o I could begin to produce better content. It all took off from there and I quickly learned I truly enjoyed creating content and well, the rest is what you see here.
I had heard so many people talking about this new app called TikTok, but I thought I was too old and too uncool to be on there. To me TikTok appeared like the Wild West and I had no clue what to do, where to go, or where to begin.
After snuggling enterally back and forth on if I should test the waters I finally decided one day to just go for it. I downloaded the app, set up my camera, shot a video and it instantly connected with people! My very first TikTok had over 17k views in 1 day. Needless to say I was hooked after that.
Like any other millennial way back in the early 2000’s I signed up for Facebook back when you still had to have a student email address to sign up. I was so excited the day I was finally able to sign up for my account. I felt that I had been let in on an exclusive club that was going to open up new doors and opportunities for me…little did I know that was exactly what it ended up doing.
