A Stay at Home Mom Blog

TiffanyStaysHome is centered around my journey to rediscover myself after leaving my career to be full time Stay-at-home mom.  Not long after the birth of my second child I began experiencing postpartum depression. Compounded with feeling a loss in my identity and struggling with isolation I hit rock bottom. After seeking out emotional and professional help and guidance I began to dig my way out. In an attempt of self-care I launched TiffanyStaysHome. My goal was to have a social and creative outlet that I could engage in and enjoy apart from a homemaker. 

From the brainstorming of content to writing, filming, editing and publishing each step brings a new level of joy and fulfillment to my ever thirsting desire to create. With an eye for design and visual composition I lean into all my training and knowledge of product production to provide my audience with content that is meaningful, engaging, and memorable. 

What I don’t know I learn. In the past few months alone I have learned sound editing, video editing and layering, content planning, SEO and so much more that by the end of the day my brain is bursting with all the new knowledge it has been consuming. Most social media influencer higher an entire team of people to do all the different skills I have been learning, and yet here I am doing something like this all on my own. 

I’ve never viewed myself as a writer, although I always did well in school growing up and have a general memory of grammar and punctuation. When I was faced with the reality that if I truly wanted to make this a career for myself that the next step for me to do was start a blog. Then I started writing and things just kinda flow for me naturally. I’m sure there are many grammatical mistakes, but I figured that if I was going to write a blog, then I would write it in my own voice, as though I am talking to you.
